Spyware Installed on Kenyan Filmmakers Phones in Police Custody

In an article by the Committee to Protect Journalists, Citizen Lab senior researcher John Scott-Railton confirms that FlexiSPY spyware was installed on two Kenyan filmmakers’ phones while the devices were in police custody.
“The spyware would give the operators silent, secret access to all sorts of private business and information about their journalism,” says Scott-Railton.
